A completed standard state application is required for all job openings at the State Securities Board. Additional information may be required for each position, please verify requirements in the remarks section of each job posting.
Applications may be obtained from the office of the State Securities Board at 208 E. 10th Street, 5th Floor, Austin, Texas, or will be provided by mail by calling 512/305-8300. Applications may also be downloaded from the Texas Workforce Commission's website. The application is currently available in two formats, Word format or PDF format. If a writing sample is required for the position for which you are applying, it will be stated in the Remarks section. A writing sample can be a memo, letter, research paper, thesis, or any sort of document that shows your ability to write reports. The topic of your sample is not limited to securities; you may use your judgment as to what kind of sample best showcases your abilities.
If transcripts are required for the position for which you are applying, it will be stated in the Remarks section. Unofficial and/or photocopies of transcripts ARE acceptable.
Completed applications may be mailed to the State Securities Board, P. O. Box 13167, Austin, Texas 78711. Applications may also be submitted electronically, as attachments to e-mail. Applications sent through e-mail should be directed to Human Resources. Those applicants to be interviewed will be contacted by the Agency. Job openings remain open until filled.
